Chicago — April 30, 2024 – Fiducient Advisors, an affiliate of NFP, an Aon company, has named Mike Goss as President of the firm. Goss will succeed Mark Wetzel, who has served as the company’s Managing Partner and President since 2006 and is retiring effective May 3. Goss will retain his current role as Chief Revenue Officer, as he focuses on driving the organization’s continued growth.
“As a founding member of Fiducient Advisors, Mike’s appointment is a testament to the significant and positive impact he’s had—and will continue to have—on our people, clients, firm and local community,” said Sabrina Bailey, CEO of Fiducient Advisors. “Since co-founding Fiducient and serving as Managing Partner, we believe Mike has demonstrated outstanding support for our nonprofit, family office, corporate and governmental clients. He’s a natural choice to follow in Mark’s footsteps.”
Goss co-founded Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC, which combined with DiMeo Schneider & Associates, L.L.C. then rebranded as Fiducient Advisors in 2021. As Managing Partner, Goss has oversight for business development and marketing initiatives. He has been advising institutional clients for more than 20 years and has a wide range of expertise in portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment manager oversight, fee analysis and peer benchmarking.
“I’m excited to take on the role of President at Fiducient Advisors,” stated Goss. “Mark and I have worked closely together for over 30 years. The future of Fiducient Advisors holds great opportunities, and I’m honored to assume the President role as we focus on our continuing growth and pursuit of financial success for clients.”
“This change represents a planned progression for Mike, building on his existing responsibilities as Chief Revenue Officer and member of the Fiducient Executive Committee,” remarked Bailey. “Mike will continue to remain focused on driving growth for the organization by leading Fiducient’s business development and marketing efforts as well as continuing to serve current and future clients of the firm.”
Goss received his MBA from Babson College and earned a BA from Boston College. He is a cofounder and trustee of the CT Public Pension Forum, a trustee of the Hartford Youth Scholars Foundation and a board member of The Latimer Group.
In his role as Fiducient’s Managing Partner and President, Wetzel provided leadership for the firm’s strategy and overall operations. He was also a co-founder of Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC, and has been in the financial services industry since 1990. “Mike is the perfect person to fill the President position. I believe Fiducient is in a great place with momentum, and we all feel very good about the future for all of our associates, partners and clients,” says Wetzel.
Fiducient Chairman, Bob DiMeo shares “I have known Mike for more than 20 years and he is perfectly suited to support Sabrina and help leadership guide the firm to even greater success.”
