Jim joined Fiducient Advisors in 1998 and provides advice and counsel to retirement plans, foundations, endowments and nonprofit organizations. Jim is a member of the firm’s Mission-Aligned Investing Council. In 2012, Jim was a contributing author to Nonprofit Asset Management (John Wiley & Sons). He is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, The Plan Sponsor Council of America's (PSCA) Research Committee, Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) and the Retirement Advisor Council. Jim frequently gives seminars and presentations at national conferences.
Prior to his career in finance, Jim worked in sports broadcasting. During his 10-year career, he was executive producer for Chicago Bulls broadcasts, co-host for the Chicago Blackhawks and Sports Director of the first 24-hour sports talk radio station in Chicago (WMVP/ESPN). Jim received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau. Jim’s hobbies include running marathons, sporting events and playing drums.
